There’s no bad time to head to a film showing, but during the dog days of summer, the inviting chill of a darkened theater is even more alluring. Summer blockbusters are an easy choice, but by now, you’ve likely seen "Barbie," "Oppenheimer" and "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One" at least once. Try something a little more offbeat at one of these St. Louis theaters, and grab a bite to eat before or after; each one is a stone’s throw away from some of our favorite eateries.
